Round 2

Jonathan and I couldn't be happier to announce that we're PREGNANT! I found out a couple weeks ago kind of by fluke, but then I promptly ordered this:

We used Amelia to announce it to my parents and both sides of Jonathan's family. It was cute to watch peoples' confused expressions as they read the shirt for the first time without any warning.

Yesterday I had my first ultrasound, and everything is looking great so far. There's nothing more exciting than seeing that tiny fluttering heartbeat inside your little bean. I am 9 weeks along tomorrow, which makes my due date October 16th. It's going to be a long, hot, FAT summer. :)

So be prepared for lots of pregnancy posts.

Yay, I've been waiting and waiting to post pregnancy COMMENTS, so that works out well :) Elsha's gonna be so annoyed that you said "we're pregnant," just warning you! Your bean is totally a baby, how precious. That's so fun when they're more than just a blob! If it keeps up that noggin size it'll be like cousin Will, haha!

Congrats Kari! I just read Kirsta's comment and cracked up! I suppose there is a reason Elsha and I found eachother in friendship...

What's this "we" business?! You and only you are pregnant! Jonathon's wife is pregnant. He is not!

Ha ha! I totally was going to comment on the "we're pregnant." If you want to use "we" you need to say "we're expecting." Because that's true.

Anyway, YAY for announcing to the world! And I look forward to all the pregnancy posts. Even though we probably have the conversations on the phone first.

You guys are funny.. I didn't even notice that I said "we" until all these comments. I guess it does make sense to say "we're expecting" instead. My bad. :)
